Runtastic App Results Page

Eventually, I'll put a picture of me up here instead.  Probably pretty soon, but this as you have read is not only my business I'm trying to start OneLittleLamb.com, but also my personal website as well.

So these are my Runtastic results.  As you will see in future videos especially, I highly recommend the Runtastic App.  It is great for knowing the distance you have gone, as an example running or walking, but also in what time you did it and estimated calories burned.  Has a lot of interesting stats for our information age, such as elevation you have traversed up or down, average speed and pace, your max speed per mile, and you can track your best/record times, etc. etc.

Some people have the fitbit, but I cannot give a review on that.  For me, I already own an iPhone so might as well use an app on something I already own, though I am paying for the Runtastic app annually for $50+TAX per year.  Maybe the fitbit is a better product to use, but I don't know.

I use an arm band that holds my iPhone to my arm, (will show picture soon.)  Though this might be bad to have a wireless device so close to your body for lengthly periods of time, but at present, I cannot resist knowing all the information.  Hopefully, I can learn a better solution to that problem later.

Run: 3.20 in 33:06 mins 441 Calories

Afterwards did some jump rope, push-ups, and jumping jacks, with some small sprints with the dog.

(First of all, don't tell me this is really bad; it is. Mainly b/c I can do a whole lot better, and over the winter I've fallen out of shape.  As a truck driver, it's hard to do this all the time.  But I'm getting back into it, and plan to continue to get back in shape. I purposely put one of my worst times, so when I tell people I love to workout and exercise, there seems to be this illusion of perfection or great ability.  So here it is for the whole world to see, to maybe encourage those that have fallen behind, to join me!  And let's get back in shape!!!)

A typical run for me when I'm out of shape and getting back into shape, is an average pace of somewhere between 9min 10 secs to 9 mins 45 sec miles.

Example: July 30, 2018 - 3.48mi 31:35mins, Avg Pace 9:04mins (95 degrees, but I remember with the heat index, it felt like well above 100 degrees.

I'm motivated to run in the rain, in the heat, etc etc.  BUT A BIT OF WARNING: IF YOU RUN IN THE HEAT MAKE SURE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING IT, AND ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY STAY WELL HYDRATED!!!!

I know that's really bad, b/c I know I can do better.

I ran cross country in high school, and my fastest run was about 19min 21secs.  That's not great, a lot of high school folks do much better.  I was 5th on my team in high school.  But as we will discuss on my YouTube channel, I've had some serious health issues and obstacles in my life to overcome, so in my book, the story of my life, that's exceptional!!!

Eventually, I'm going to explain why I was named, "Medical Miracle," by my high school cross country coach, who was shocked and surprised to learn of my health problems and challenges to be running on the cross country team like a normal kid.  We will talk more about that very soon.  My channel already launched last year in November where I discussed these things, but I've decided to take a step back after learning how to do a YouTube channel, and make it even better.  It's one of those things, it's imperative that you fail, in order to be able to succeed.  There are some cultures around the world where failing is absolutely necessary to success.  In fact, if you have not failed, you have not made enough of an effort to try.

My YouTube channel was not exactly a "failure," I just want to make it better.
